Charles the bird

I love birds, birdhouses lately. Dont know what my deal is but they are just cute and fun. Well a while back I was shopping with my momma at craft warehouse and we found some cute lil birdies for decor. So she got me one:) I named him Charles but we like to call him chuck, charlie, char, what ever comes to mind really. He has become very handy for when stephen is gone, there is still someone watching out for me. Yeah, I talk to him sometimes. What. Haha:) I remember when I first got him I had a vase with flowers on the table and I just sort of nestled charles into it. Stephen jumped straight in the air when he first discovered he was there! It was hilarious.

Now he is our guardian above the kitchen cabinet. They have grown to be quite good friends. Sometimes I'll ask Stephen how his day was and he will tell me all about what he and "chuck" did or what "chuck" thinks about the football game or whatever. Well today Stephen was a love and cleaned out the garage! It was sooo needed and he was the biggest sweetheart for tackling that all on his own. When I got home from work this was our conversation.

Sidnee: Thanks for all your hard work in the garage. How was your day?
Stephen: It was good to get that done. Now chuck and I just relaxin and watchin sports center. Chuck hates the lakers and is glad they lost.
Sidnee: Charlie is a lover not a fighter he wouldnt say something so mean.
Stephen: hem. He prefers to be called chuck.

HAHA maybe you had to be there but somebody tell me we need a real pet?!?!

I love you baby.

OH MY GOSH

For our wedding we received the greatest gift EVER the roomba robot vacuum. LOVE. I'm not the hugest fan of vacuuming so its basically perfect. Tonight I decided to give our bedroom a really good once over with the good ol fashioned vacuum:) WELL its a dang good thing stephen loves my hair so much, look what he got to clean out!

note to self, dont wait so long to vacuum next time! And the roomba sucks at picking up hair I guess.

Team work. It took forever to cut out of there! We could have made a wig or something with all that. It was quite ridiculous. I'm glad that is off my floor! Gross! Haha!

Hair Lovin

For those of you who don't know, I have very long hair. Always have - ALWAYS will, I'm sure. I remember being in the 1st grade and telling my mom I wanted to grow my hair out...seeing as my mother had it styled like a bull cut (popular mostly for BOYS) it made sense I would desire that. She told me that was fine, but the first time I cried when she brushed it we had to cut it short again. Well that wasn't till the 7th grade and I decided to cut it on my own to donate it to locks of love. 12 inches later and lots of tears (happy I did a good thing, sad I had no hair again) I was determined to do it once more. Sophmore year came and I had a solid 10 inches to donate. Twice was plenty for me. Since then its been hair hair HAIR. I wouldnt know what to do with myself if I cut it. Then I met Stephen and he instantly fell for my "disney princess hair" and I fell for his clean cut. Now we have an understanding that the day I cut my hair off is the day that Stephen starts growing his out apparently. I dont care for the shag:( This weekend I discovered the real reason he loves my long hair so much......... It makes for good entertainment......
Sorry they are smart phone quality...

He makes a very pretty girl I think!! Haha. I apologize for my late night tired look

I love you Stephen. Thanks for ALWAYS being good for a laugh:)

Twenty Two and Twenty Seven

This month was such a special one it was birthday time for Stephen and me!! My super sexy 27 year OLD husband!

I sure love this man.

We had so much fun celebrating Stephens birthday. Upon request by bday boy we slept in till 930! Lucky! I couldnt wait for him to wake up so I could send him on his scavenger hunt to find his presents! I feel I should have let him wake up a little more before giving him his clues....he was a little groggy! Haha but he did great finding his bday presents....way more fun than wrapping them. Then we headed to the egg factory for some AMAZING breakfast. Seriously so so great we love that place and are trying to make up a special occasion when we can go again soon! Stephen almost attempted the bacon pancake (real pieces of bacon in the batter)but decided he was too hungry and didnt want to risk disappointment. Next time he is going for it! There is no way we could ever be disappointed there. After breakfast we went to get massages which were heavenly, then back home to nap! Next bday boy wanted a nice gym sesh then we got ready and went to the mall got some new cologne for him (2, for the collection)he chose Angel for men and then of course fierce, he was out of it and it was 40% off!, and perfume for her I chose Daisy by Marc Jacobs. We ended the beautiful day with dinner at Tucanos (bday boys fav, he calls it heaven because you sit down and people immediately serve you meat) of course we ate too much and went home to watch a movie while we digested. All in all a successful birthday.

We also got another new nephew, little trey jacoby below in all his cuteness,

and my niece kylee had a birthday and my brother and probably a lot more people. April is a fantastic month. We were able to go and visit the TRIPLETS and it was so great. Such good babies LUCKILY! While we were there only the boys were home from the hospital, Wilson and James

And we were able to go see Quinn in the hospital...poor girl:(

but now all are home and happy and 5 weeks old!

Mallory is going to do a photo shoot with ALL these babies soon and I CANNOT WAIT!!!

Stephen and I are expecting TWINS!!!

Two darling identical baby birdie twins :) HAHA gotcha! Last monday I sat and watched as the birds craftily flew back and fourth from patio to tree back to patio to make this wonderous and beautiful nest for our sweet babies. Its amazing how perfectly round and cozy it is!

you can kind of see, its in our shade (which needs replaced but now it probably wont be since it is now home to precious cargo) in the top right hand corner. Stephen said we needed to take it down before they lay eggs and I told him 'If you want to go and tell them they cant use our patio to procreate then be my guest, but I will not ruin that beautiful nest!' By the time he got around to it the eggs were there. Yay:) Oh how I already love these baby birds. The eggs are so perfect and round and blue and just darling, I cant wait for them to pop out and chirp all the time!! Now the question is, what should we name them???

Valentines day...?

I know, over a month late:) We've been busy! Just wanted to share our romantic Valentines weekend getaway. We spent the love holiday in McCall, and it was lovely.

We spent the whole day listening to gushy music (the good Buble) and Skiing/Boarding at Brundage. It was our first time up for the season! All our stuff has been hiding away in storage so we were very excited to dust it off and get to it!
The disgruntled boarder having to fidget and clip in on the lift. Skiing is better:)

We had a lot of fun, and realized how out of shape we were. We lasted a good 4 hours and headed home with wobbly legs and sore quads! We joined my parents for a lovely meal at their house, the boys grilled the Tri Tip and mom made her amazing craisen salad and I made rosemary garlic red potato wedges... YUM. Top it off with some sparkling cider and candle light and you've got yourself a romantic Valentines dinner! It was quite hilarious. I really wish I would've gotten pics. We grabbed every candle we could find and basically still ate in the dark. HAHA. Then my Valentine and I settled into our new nest and watched the movie Valentines day, just because. Yeah, we own it! Just to watch EVERY valentines day:) My sweetie peetie sent me flowers at work.

TULIPS! And they were even in a damask vase, he sure loves me.

ALSO the TRIPLETS have arrived! March 25, 2011 Two boys (5.3 & 5.11) and a girl (6.10) they are all doing really well. In the NICU working out some kinks but they should go home soon. Mama bear is having some trouble, they took babies C section and were unable to stop the bleeding right away so she had to get some transfusions and some surgerys but is doing better...still hasnt been able to go down to NICU to see babies:( We are going down in 2 weeks to cuddle and help! I will have a million pictures to share of their sweet new faces!!

MOVING DAY!!

YAY we signed on our house on Friday, get the keys today and move SATURDAY! Cant wait. Its finally here. I'm so excited for all the cleaning and packing and painting and unpacking, which is weird usually you would dread all that but I havent seen all our things that are in the storage unit for 10 months and its going to be like Christmas again! And it will be so fun to set up house and get everything extremely ORGANIZED! OH how I love organization, and decoration!! So much fun ahead of us. Yesterday we attended our new ward and LOVED it. When we were looking at houses, we found a few that we just loved...and I mean loved like I was hugging the cabinets and the mantle loved. Love like Stephen peed out back to mark his territory loved! Those homes didnt work out and we were crushed, but then this house came along. We liked the layout we loved the dark cherry hardwood floors we liked the fireplace/mantle we loved the backyard the office the bedrooms the bonus room....on paper it was perfect. I loved it, but our Realtor was worried when we werent hugging appliances and planning the future childrens bedroom designs. I felt like it was THE house but I didnt feel the same love and affection for it as I had for some others. But it was home, we bought it. Well, as soon as we walked into church yesterday....I got the feeling. The 'this is exactly where we are supposed to be' feeling. It took until I walked into the Lords house for me to feel the affection. I immediately wanted to hug the walls:) But dont worry...Stephen did NOT feel the need to pee out back to mark his territory! Haha but really, we couldnt be more thrilled and excited for all this change that is coming our way. I know we will learn and grow immensely while we are in this area and I believe we will do great things. Wish us luck!!

Here it is, all the times we've gone and forgot the camera... Here is a phone pic...better pictures to follow!
