Charlotte is the most expressive little human there ever was. Some of the faces she makes......she sure knows how to look pathetic in a New York minute. But also has the biggest giggle! My whole world lights up when that girl smiles and giggles. She is also getting very sensitive. If I get upset with her for yanking my hair (on purpose) or spitting her food everywhere or something she will get this adorably pathetic sweet little pouty lip. It is the saddest thing ever. Both times she pulled it I felt like she ripped my heart out and tattooed mean mom on it. We just make up for it with a heart warming cuddle sesh. She is sooooo sassy. My angel baby.... How did this happen? Stephen will tell her to "spit out that spice" when he asks for a kiss and she slaps him instead. Sassy girl! Ready to be over that phase. She also is our little mimic-er. She will repeat certain words or sounds and it's hilarious. Her and Bear get started on "uh oh" and feed off each other for an hour. It's the most darling sound. She is also fearless. Her latest tricks include climbing on/off the couch and numerous times trying to climb in/out of the tub or over the gate. I'm praying she doesn't figure out how to escape her crib any time soon. She is so tall! They can now reach things on the counter. Especially if she climbs in a drawer for extra height. She is definitely the bossy dominant one. She is however surprisingly obedient. If I ask her to stop what she's doing 8 out of 10 times she will. Where as bear would laugh at me and keep doing it like we were playing a game. She loves purses and necklaces. Especially putting them around her neck. It's amazing to me how she is just naturally ALL GIRL. And bear loves blocks and turning everything into a toy car that he runs into everything. ALL BOY. So crazy.

They are so aware of things I am saying and trying to communicate back. Their favorite thing is to pretend they are talking on the phone. Anything becomes a phone. You say "hello? Is this Bear/Charlee? Can you hear me? Hello? Goodbye." They think it's pretty funny. And anytime they are actually talking on the phone they always look to see the screen. They are so used to face time with daddy when he's working!

Bear is so helpful. He loves cleaning up after his sister, like when she dumps the blocks all over....he follows her around picking them up. He has the cutest suck in squeel! His eyes disappear entirely and all you see are those 8 little teeth smiling back at you. He's very adventurous and always wondering but always checking to make sure I'm close. He is the one who has broken things. He shattered a glass plate and a glass lid to a pot. At least he ran away after and didn't play in it! He is fast. They are obsessed with the bathroom and the pantry. They do some serious damage to those rooms. If you open the door they are behind you in a split second! So curious! He is my shadow. He HATES getting his diaper changed. Coincidently, I hate changing him. He fights and fights with all he has. It's very common for me to pin him down. I feel so bad, but the boy literally had 9 poopy diapers the other day. It's pretty typical to have 4-6 on a normal day. I keep telling him to learn to use the toilet but I foresee that being a couple years out. Unfortunately. We have a fun time together. Church is still fun (ha!) but today they roamed around begging for food and made lots of friends. It's so wonderful to see someone's face light up when those babies look their way. It makes it all worth while. We cannot wait for warmer weather. These babies love to be out and about and the best I can do right now is a ride in the car or a few laps around the mall. That gets old fast. They don't like when the stroller stops for mom to look at something. This week we had a few nice days and they got to roam in the open air and freaked out when they had to come inside. I love listening to their little mumbles all day. Nothing could be sweeter than watching them grow and learn. Here are some photos of what we've been up to lately!
