This year we had parents and every single sibling and grandchild under one roof. It was great! It was chaos. And then the flu hit. Typical, right? Our little family seemed to escape with only a few mishaps. We were the lucky ones...or just the ones who already had the flu 2 months prior! We are especially grateful to Riley & Destry for braving the harsh winter conditions and flying their family across the country to see us. It was so good to see those kiddos, they have changed so much in a year and a half! And meet Ledger of course. If you don't focus on all the puke and lack of sleep, we had a wonderful time! Mom, Destry and I got to go see the nutcracker!! It was a highlight in my life. I absolutely loved it and plan on going again next year! Bowling/games on Christmas Eve was awesome too. And we were spoiled with gifts and love from all our family. Mallory and I had fun using her new lense she got for Christmas! And of course I gave everyone mani's & pedi's. Stephen had to work Christmas this year:( but we got to visit the station and have a lovely dinner with the fire fighters. I highly recommend this. They prepared a very yummy dinner and jumped right up and cleaned everything up after too. They are the best. It was a very lovely holiday. It was wonderful to get back to a routine and start planning and looking forward to the new year. Have a great year everyone!
