We have talked about not finding out the gender of baby #3 for a long time and really tried to not find out! We had all the baby stuff we needed either way and it truly did not matter one way or the other but ya know..... Clearly I couldn't hang haha. I was totally spot on guessing gender for the twins and this time I was 99.9% sure it was a girl.... I just really wanted someone to tell me I was right! AND there are 4 nephews joining the family this year so if it WAS a girl, I wanted to be able to give the boy stuff away especially when it was needed! And because we were moving and needed to get rid of things we didn't need to move. I could justify it all day... but the fact is we are having a sweet tiny perfect GIRL and the kids couldn't be more thrilled and proud of their little baby sis on the way. We even invited Grandma's to join us for the big gender reveal ultrasound and it was very special to have them there. Especially to help entertain the kids for the hour long appointment! They did great and loved watching the baby move and kick and see her arms & legs & heart & brain! It really is fascinating watching it all. It was so sweet to go through all the baby stuff from 5 years ago. I will admit I think it would have been a lot harder to say goodbye to all the girl things, everything baby is just so precious.
We are all so anxious to meet her in July!
