Florida trip continued!

We got off the boat in Cape Canaveral and immediately headed to DISNEY WORLD in orlando where cousins were waiting for us! No rest for this crew - we were ready to roll. It was SO FUN to be there with our Hone cousins. I was terrible at taking pictures that day, but that shows you just how much fun was had living in the moment. Charlee & Bear were finally beyond the height requirement which allowed them to ride anything - it was the first time they got to do splash mountain and it was a BIG hit! Totally worth the hour and a half wait that was supposed to be 45 minutes. Being pregnant, I enjoyed things from the sidelines mostly but got to do a few of my favorites. There really is just something so magical about disney! Its even more rewarding watching your kids experience it. We rode the rides, ate the food, walked and walked and walked some more, explored and enjoyed every moment to the fullest - we even stayed until they kicked us out! The kids passed out the moment we got back to the car and we went straight to bed as soon as we got back to the condo (ok I had to soak in the tub for a few minutes first to rest my aching feet!) It was a good thing we rested up because the very next morning we were up and ready to take on another day of theme park adventures at Universal Studios! I made sure to take lots of pictures to make up for the day before! Man, nothing can really compare to Disney...but I absolutely LOVE this place! Seuss land is my favorite. I have always been obsessed with Dr. Seuss and Stephen has half of his books memorized and the kids love it all too. Its so fun how they have story book pages all over while you wait in the lines. Its just absolutely incredible to see it all brought to life! We spent a big part of the day here and soaked it all in, last time we came was without the kiddos and we only got a few minutes to check it out before the park closed. So glad we could bring them back here and watch their faces light up! Harry Potter World - I mean, its just the coolest. Once again seeing it all brought to life is unreal! They have done a fantastic job! The kids weren't very impressed but Bear is obsessed with castles and they loved playing with the wands and drinking the butter beer! SOOOO TASTY! We got to meet our newest cousin Mason for the first time at Hogwarts Castle! Kinda fun. He is the sweetest little guy. I got to hang with baby Mas so his mom & dad could go have fun since we weren't allowed on the big rides. We have a special bond that little guy & I! Next section of the park was Jurrasic Park and the kids were really excited until they realized how life like it was.... and it was a tad too scary for them! But they were determined to be brave. At the end of one of the big rides (that I went on but probably shouldn't have) there was a massive 50 ft T Rex and we went right under him then dropped like on splash mountain! As soon as it was over both kids were crying and terrified! They were scared of the dinosaurs. It may have been mean, but it was hard not to laugh especially because not 2 minutes later while walking through the gift shop both wanted a stuffed T rex! Haha it obviously didn't scar them for too long. There was also a spiderman ride and planet of the apes where they had a brief panic but ended up loving! It was such a fun day. And exhausting. I dont know how our little feet kept up with us. The next day we headed down the coast to Ft. Lauderdale to spend more time with Aunt Jennifer and baby Mason and to see him given a name and a blessing. It was so special, and so amazing to be in the warm florida sun --- especially after the crazy winter we had! So grateful we were able to go on this trip and make some seriously awesome memories on our last trip as a family of FOUR! The kids have become such great little travelers and we are hoping baby sis will be the same way, we have big plans for these kiddos. Love them so much. Until next time Florida!
